This workshop will focus on how cultural models and cultural intelligence inform global team coaching. Steve Couch will draw from his practical experience of leading international teams, and his published research which includes perspectives from Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, Kazakhstan, USA and Czechia in approaches to coaching culturally different team members.
You will learn how to be more attuned to potential ambiguities and misunderstandings, the value of cultural sensitivity, and deepen your own awareness by reviewing your practice through a multicultural lens. The session will be highly interactive, giving participants opportunities to experiment and enrich their coaching.
An ex-PwC Partner, Steve led multinational client teams serving the largest global organisations, and headed up business practices in The Netherlands, Central & Eastern Europe and the UK.
After returning to the UK, Steve completed an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change (with distinction) at Henley. He also holds an AoEC Practitioner Diploma and is an active Certified Associate Member of APECS.
Steve’s business is Coaching Together Ltd where he coaches Professional Services Partners, Senior Executives and Leadership Teams. He is currently co-writing a book, Future-proof your legal career today due for publication in August 2021.
