An informative, interactive, engaging and highly visual workshop on Coaching with Collage including the 'Science Behind the Art'. During this session, Andréa Watts will highlight the:
power of images for communication
neuroscience of emotions and images
role of the unconscious, symbols and visual metaphors
use of external visualisation for clarity and decision making
case for creativity in coaching
In this experiential session, participants will be encouraged to focus on a CPD topic of importance to them, enabling experience of image work and an opportunity for personal insight, followed by group sharing and discussion.
Andréa Watts is the only UK specialist in psychological collaging. She is Creative Coach and Consultant at UnglueYou® and Honorary Lecturer at City University London – Psychology Department. Combining training in Art Therapy, Clean language and mindfulness to facilitate deeper self- awareness, the Collage Connectivity Technique™ takes you ‘beyond the vision board’. As Andréa’s vision is to see collage releasing people's potential around the world, she trains coaches and psychologists to use the methodology, and is writing a book on the subject, due to be published by Routledge in 2021. With over 12 years’ experience facilitating and training at group workshops, individual consultations and training programmes, Andrea has delivered this workshop many times including at Kingston University Business School, City University of London, The Best You Expo, and The Coaching Academy (advanced coaching day).
