"The courage of the coach" with Chris Wood

NOTE: This event will be delivered online.

When courage is mentioned in a coaching context it’s often in regard to helping the coachee become more courageous.

But what role does courage play in your coaching practice?

Which situations require you to be courageous?

And when you show courage in your coaching, is it in your interests or the interests of the client?

In a highly interactive workshop, you’ll be encouraged to understand your own patterns of courage, exploring ways to expand, or indeed reduce, the footprint of that courage.

Chris will provide the context for a series of exercises and reflections by sharing the findings of his original research into the role of courage in the development and practice of the coach, carried out as the concluding part of his MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at the University of East London.

Chris runs an independent coaching practice called Wood Not Trees which specialises in helping leaders to find clarity and confidence. He is accredited as a Senior Practitioner with the EMCC and before moving in to coaching enjoyed 20 years at Board level in the PR industry.

If you attend all the live online meeting, you will receive 1.25 CCEUs Core Competencies
