NOTE: This event will be delivered online.
Improvisation is about being in the moment, listening and engaging with others to explore ideas and develop exciting new possibilities. It has many analogies with coaching. Improv can enhance your coaching through focusing on presence, emotional intuition and co-creation. It can also provide you with practical ways to support coachee development in areas as diverse as confidence, flexibility, creativity and trust. Increasingly popular in organisational settings, improv is playful and fun, providing a sense of flow and enhancing overall well-being.
In this highly experiential workshop, we’ll explore the basic tenets of improv through a number of practical exercises. You’ll be encouraged to reflect on how improv skills can support your coaching practice through experiencing the improv mind-set and ‘way of being’. You will learn some simple and powerful exercises to use in both an individual and team coaching environment, to develop insight and skills in a variety of ways.
