Coaching covers a broad range of practices. Often coaches ask themselves the question how far/deep/etc they can go with a client. When do we need to refer? What's okay and what's not okay to do? In this session, Yannick Jacob will lay out the landscape of coaching, the differences to other practices such as therapy or mentoring and talk about the importance of ethics and supervision. In the process every attendee will get closer to answering this important question for themselves. There will be lively debate with lots of case stories, client scenarios and examples from attendees.
Yannick Jacob is the former programme leader of the MSc Coaching Psychology at the University of East London. He has facilitated many workshops and weekend courses at a number of institutions, including Animas, and is currently a facilitator for the Positive Psychology Practitioner Certificate and The School of Life.
