July 2022 Newsletter
This month Aboodi Shabi returned to the London Coaching Group and delivered a fast paced thought-provoking workshop exploring the theme of diversity in coaching using the framework of ontological coaching.
Through group discussion in the main space alongside reflective debrief in small breakout groups and individually completing an extract from the privilege questionnaire, Aboodi got us thinking about our own autobiography, the narratives and scripts formed through our life experiences and how we might change these. Aboodi encouraged a focus not solely on action and results but moreso a way of being connecting to language, body, emotion and mood. Beginning to reflect on how we might develop our practices and what we can undertake to learn more, be comfortable with dis-comfort and engage in unrealised or difficult conversations, enhancing our own awareness to better serve our clients and become better advocates for diversity and inclusion in coaching.
Thank you Aboodi for your generosity in sharing your experience and wisdom.
"Head outdoors: Coaching with Nature" with Anna-Marie Watson & Alexandra Burn
Regrettably we are having to cancel this event with a view to rescheduling next year. Apologies from both LCG and the speakers. Anna-Marie has shared this link to a series of free podcasts about coaching outdoors with lots of inspring interviews and insight into the work that Anna-Marie and Alex are so passionate about.

On Tuesday 26th July we welcome Tim Segaller with his workshop "Less Striving, More Being" .
This workshop builds on his 2020 workshop ‘Mindfulness in Coaching’, but is suitable both for those new to mindfulness, or experienced practitioners. It focuses on how deep coaching presence will increasingly become the ‘X factor’ in transformative work, particularly in light of the huge uncertainties and anxieties created by our current and post-Covid realities.
ICF Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEs)
If you attend for the full duration of our live sessions, we will send you a CCE certificate for 1.25 units.
We are excited to be applying for CCEs for all planned future events.
