Changes at the heart of the London Coaching Group
The London Coaching Group has announced changes to their core team and events for 2023. Two prominent coaches, Nicky Chambers and Ruchi Shah-Mehta have joined the co-chair team in the biggest change the group has seen since the pandemic.
Both Nicky and Ruchi are big advocates for creating spaces for reflective practices and experience sharing, which the London Coaching Group does wonderfully. Leading the London Coaching Group is the perfect opportunity for them to contribute to individual coaches' growth and development, as well as the coaching profession as a whole. As a part of the co-chair team, Ruchi and Nicky hope to bring aspiration and more collaboration to the group, building on the environment of learning, growth and connection created by previous co-chairs.
Nicky said, “I'm delighted to be joining Carolyn and Jan, along with Ruchi at the heart of the London Coaching Group, and to build on and grow the wonderful work that has taken place for many years. I genuinely believe that we do things better, and create a bigger and more positive impact by working together as a 'we' rather than as an 'I' - and being a part of LCG is a fantastic opportunity to do this. We have a growing membership of people who are passionate about coaching, along with a wonderful array of speakers and content that I'm super excited to be a part of. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?!”
Ruchi said, “I am absolutely delighted to be a part of the core team at the London Coaching Group. As coaches, we have a poignant role to play in supporting human potential, aspirations, challenges and hope as we move into a changing world order and organisations like the London Coaching Group have an even more important role to play in inspiring coaches to grow and deliver a positive impact on the coaching profession. I believe that any opportunity to help coaches connect, learn, grow and evolve is an opportunity to strengthen the resources we have as a profession. Being a part of this team is an exciting opportunity!”
The London Coaching Group has been running for over 20 years providing consistently high-quality networking, personal and professional development opportunities to coaches, regardless of their level of experience. The Group has ambitious plans for 2023 which include bringing together thought leaders on a variety of topics for virtual and in-person sessions focusing on raising the level of debate, discussion and learning for coaches. The first quarter of 2023 will see a focus on business development for coaches, the art of coaching through observing a Master Coach at work and development series on “Be a Better Coach”.
