This reflective and experiential workshop aims to enable fellow coaches to learn more reflectively and become better practitioners in the service of their clients, learning to use creative approaches and tools to support their individual journey of self-reflection. 

Mark Bisson developed his own approach to self-reflection over many years of reading, researching and academic learning. Whilst he found excellent generic books or specific chapters covering the topic of self- reflection, he could not find any book which specifically focused on guiding coaches and coach supervisors in developing their ability to self- reflect using a variety of creative approaches. This was the embryonic catalyst for his book upon which this interactive, experiential learning workshop is based.  

Mark will share his research including tools and techniques providing practical guidance with opportunities for participants to try out a variety of creative self-reflection approaches.  

Mark is Director of Rise Organisational Development Consultancy and has been coaching and mentoring for 19 years with senior management and executive clients in the public, voluntary and commercial sectors. Mark is author of Coach Yourself First- A coach’s guide to self-reflection an Amazon top 100 best seller. Mark is also a coach supervisor and visiting lecturer at Jesus College, Cambridge, University of Warwick and University of East London.
