July 2023 Newsletter
We joined together on Saturday 24th June in Central London for a rare opportunity to spend the day with internationally recognised team coaching and dialogic experts, Georgina Woudstra, MCC, ACTC, Allard de Jong (MA, PCC, ACTC), Jane Ball and Peter Garrett participating in and learning about the future of team coaching, experiencing a team coaching demonstration, working with dialogic approaches - where do we naturally prefer to come from, and where might we stretch into - connecting, collaborating and meaning-making together. It was genuinely magical and felt by all in the room.
Georgina and Allard helped us to explore the emergent nature of team coaching and working with what's in the room, right here, right now. We explored how that can impact the team when working together, the organsiation they work in, the wider system and landscape that the organisation exists in. How where we are with team coaching is moving and expanding and how the growth of this area of coaching will affect our practice and the impact we can have as coaches.
Jane and Peter worked with us to understand the impact of our individual energies, and where our natural preferences lie - how does this affect the team/s we're working in? Where might we need to consider moving to, or who might we consider working with in order to support and promote a different way of being in order to be more effective and efficient for the outcome that our team, our organisation and our world might need?
Alongside this, we collaborated, we talked and shared together (with a wonderful lunch provided by our wonderful venue, the Friends House), we explored team coaching together, how we might work more in this space, how we might work better in this space and how we might think more creatively about the teams we're working with currently to have more impact and move from the 'I' to the 'we' in order to have greater impact.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to our speakers, Georgina, Allard, Jane and Peter for such a wonderful day, for their wisdom and for making this day the truly brilliant event it was. We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all those who came and shared with us, especially given the heat we experienced, within and without of the room!
Here's what attendees had to say:
"This inspirational and very actionable journey into team coaching by leaders in the field catalysed expansion of my coaching repertoire and increased my confidence to tackle a key coaching need of the future!"

I am genuinely thrilled to share my experience at the recent Team Coaching workshop, brilliantly organised by the London Coaching Group. This was far more than a standard coaching workshop – it was an inspirational journey of self-discovery, learning, and growth that has left a lasting impact on my understanding and approach to team coaching.
Right from the outset, the tone was set for a day of deep learning, with an inviting atmosphere that cultivated openness, curiosity, and a collective passion for team coaching. The remarkable presenters were experts in their field, bringing a wealth of knowledge and insightful experiences to share. Their ability to simplify complex theories, coupled with practical applications, ensured we could truly grasp and apply the concepts.
One of the standout moments was the live demonstration. Witnessing the power of team coaching in action served as a vivid and practical reinforcement of all the theoretical insights shared throughout the day. It highlighted the transformative power of being present in coaching, the art of 'being' versus 'doing,' which brought a profound depth to my understanding of my role as a team coach.
The whole day was filled with nuggets of wisdom that went beyond the surface of traditional coaching methodologies. It challenged us to reflect on our roles as team coaches and rethink the dynamics of dialogue within a team setting. This introspective journey was an essential part of the process that made the event more meaningful and impactful.
In a testament to the impeccable organisation skills of the London Coaching Group, the entire event flowed seamlessly. There was a genuine sense of care for every participant, creating an environment that was conducive to learning and growth. Their dedication to providing an enriching and memorable experience is clearly evident, making the London Coaching Group a shining beacon in the field of coaching.
The session really gave me a renewed perspective.. I strongly recommend the London Coaching Group and their events to all coaches seeking to deepen their understanding and sharpen their practice. This event was not just enlightening; it was transformative, and I look forward to future events with the same level of enthusiasm and excitement."
