December 2023 Newsletter

A great end to a great year of events!
Thank you to everyone joining us on Tuesday 28th November, a chilly evening creating a room full of warmth, energy and rich learning.  A huge thank you to Stephanie Wheeler and Teresa Leyman for so generously sharing their insights into the potential for bringing more playfulness into our coaching. Through small group activities and opportunity to experiment with playful tools including art materials, lego and playdoh, alongside wider group discussion sharing different perspectives and insights emerging for each of us. Ending with coaching practice to consider our personal connection to playfulness and how we might bring more into our coaching and wider life!  Connectins were made within ourselves as well as connections with others in our coaching community. We welcomed some new coaches to the group and it was lovely to meet some of our virtual attendees in person. Alongside experienced coaches, it was great to meet new coaches finding LCG early on in their journey, a warm welcome to all.

Hear what some of the attendees had to say:
“Thank you to the London Coaching Group for a joyful and educational session. Such a welcoming and friendly group. Skilfully facilitated by Stephanie and Teresa who had us exploring playfulness and got us curious about how we might apply it in our coaching practice.
You know you’re always going to have insightful conversations with a room full of coaches, right? Well, we did. And it was particularly inspiring to see where being playful could take the conversations.
Light-hearted, yet deep, engaging conversations that had us imagining just what we could achieve with our clients, with a little dose of playfulness.”
Anat Shabi

"I arrived at this session a sceptic and left a convert. Steph and Teresa are phenomenal facilitators and did a masterful job of demonstrating the power of playfulness to eliminate inhibitions and get to the heart of the matter. This was a joyfully insightful session."
Eric Rugundu

“Thoroughly enjoyed the playfulness in coaching session with Stephanie and Teresa. Made to feel so welcome and made us think. Will definitely return.”
David Lowe
