February 2022 Newsletter

We were honoured to welcome Prof David Clutterbuck delivering "Coaches in transition: becoming the coach you don't yet know you could be" for our January session. David, who called himself the" last man standing" (from the pioneers of European coaching), shared his model of the four stages of coaching maturity adding many anecdotes. He explained how we develop from controlling the conversation, when we start as coaches. As we grow in our coaching maturity, we "contain" our input to give sufficient control to the client, before considering how to facilitate our clients fully understand their growth in their context. Finally using our compassion, curiosity, courage and connection we allow emerging, evolving outcomes.

David engaged our members from the sell out session with his thought provoking delivery, illustrating that the coaching conversation is the link between the client's understanding of themselves and how they understand the external world.  David effortlessly answered the many questions and these are captured in our recording. Thank you David for such an engaging, engrossing, erudite start to 2022.  David shared details of a conference he will be speaking at later this month www.coachingethicsforum.com

Change to Availability of Recordings
From 2022 we will no longer be making recordings available for purchase after an event has taken place. If you are interested in an event but unable to attend the live session, you have the option to buy a ticket ahead of the event, and receive the recording and all resources and follow-up communications regarding the event, the same as for those attending the live event.

Remember you can stay connected with the Group online on LinkedIn and Twitter.

On Tuesday 22nd February, we look forward to welcoming back Lisa Farr.
One of the biggest challenges for coaches is how do you position yourself to attract well-paying clients consistently.  The problem is that coaches are often too busy to do much marketing, or they feel overwhelmed by all the different promotional activities they are advised they have to do.
What you will learn during this workshop:
- How to position yourself to attract high-paying clients
- What marketing works best depending on what stage your business is at
- How our mindset and beliefs impact our ability to attract higher-value clients
- Which marketing activities you can stop doing

ICF Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEs)
If you attend for the full duration of our live sessions, we will send you a CCE certificate for 1.25 units.
We are excited to be applying for CCEs for all planned future events.
