September 2022 Newsletter
On Tuesday 27th September we were thrilled to hold our first face-to-face event for a long time, and we couldn't have returned with a better workshop! Improv with Stephen Burt and Julie Flower was immersive, stretching, insightful and so much fun!
We stepped out of our comfort zones, tried new improv techniques, basked in the high energy in the room, connected with each other and reflected on how we can bring this playfulness to our coaching with clients, in particular how we might use this in 1:1 sessions, and aspects we could bring into our own self-reflective practice, for example how we arrive to a session.
Thank you Stephen and Julie for bringing us together in this way, and to everyone for being curious, making it an evening full of learning and laughter!
On Tuesday 18th October we welcome Sonya Shellard and Lucy Mullins with "Riding the Waves of Life".
Like waves in the ocean, challenges in life are a natural and powerful force that can be inspiring, terrifying, uplifting and overwhelming. Some challenges are regular and unremarkable; others are unexpected and life-changing. It's how you deal with the waves you face that determines how you thrive and survive.
Sonya Shellard & Lucy Mullins will share the WAVES model of coaching which was designed in response to the global pandemic. The Workshop will provide attendees with a practical model, along with tools and techniques, to use with your clients and as part of your own self-reflective CPD work as coaches and coach supervisors.
ICF Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEs)
We will send you a CCE certificate for 1.5 units.

Can't make an event and would like a recording?
If you are interested in an event but unable to attend the live session, you have the option to buy a ticket ahead of the event, and receive the recording and all resources and follow-up communications regarding the event, the same as for those attending the live event.
Venues
The Gloucester Road Holiday Inn is closed for refurbishment. We'd love to hear any recommendations for a venue which is reasonably central to London. If you haven't attended a previous live event, we need flexible space for 30-60 people, with a separate area for networking before the event. Please send your recommendations to admin@londoncoachinggroup.co.uk
Unless there are restrictions, we plan to have a mixture of on-line and in person events.
Remember you can stay connected with the Group online on LinkedIn and Twitter.
