A lot has been written about how to do coaching. Much of this is about what we need to do in the room to help someone else move forward. Artful coaching is not about doing more or better, nor about more or slicker techniques. It is about being more human: moving from thinking about skillset and toolset to life-set and mindset.
Once you have technical skill in coaching, the next step is being more courageous, tolerating not knowing, stopping trying to win, being vulnerable and humble. So as a coach, if you want to deepen your work without adding more tools and techniques, and you are willing to do some deeper work in service of having more transformational conversations with your clients, then this workshop is for you.
In this workshop Lucia Baldelli MCC, will share some stories about the key human qualities (silence, control, humility, vulnerability, distance, courage) we need to cultivate to be a more artful coach and how she worked on herself to grow them before helping others.
With simple exercises in breakout rooms and group reflection, you will learn how to grow these qualities that will transform your conversations and will make transformation more likely to happen in those you coach.
This workshop emerges from the book ‘The Human Behind The Coach’, written by Claire Pedrick MCC and Lucia Baldelli MCC and will resonate with coaches who want to have more impactful conversations, want to work better in partnership with clients and create more flow in conversations. About Lucia Baldelli MCC
Lucia is a coach who enjoys helping others cross the finish line and succeed. She partner’s with coaches and leaders who want to amplify their impact. She truly believe this can happen if we constantly see ourselves as a work in progress, striving to become a better version of ourselves in every interaction with others. Her focus is helping coaches bring their humanity as they enter the coaching room.
She partner’s with executives and their teams to help them collaborate better and achieve challenging objectives. In the last 20 years,she has coached multicultural and distributed organisations from 18 countries.
She is a Master Certified Coach with the ICF. I founded Coaching Outside the Box, a coaching school that has trained and mentored hundreds of coaches worldwide. She has trained as a Supervisor and in Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching.
She is Italian, although you would never know it if you heard me speaking English or Spanish. She has lived in Gibraltar, the British corner of Andalusia, for 8 years.
