Our guiding principles
We are committed to providing Professional and Personal Development for all our members. The following will be used as a guide when assessing proposals and themes for our annual schedule:
● The future of coaching in 2024 and beyond
● Team and group coaching
● Progressive coaching: new ideas, approaches, technology and innovative research
● Ways of promoting equity, diversity and inclusivity in coaching
● Who we are is how we coach, reflective growth practices, supervision
● Knowledge and experience sharing including demos of coaching mastery and
opportunity for LCG community engagement and collaborative learning
● Developing and marketing our coaching niche and business
We hope to run one virtual series (3-4 events over one month) focussing on the theme of ‘Who we are is how we coach’ and one full day face-to-face event, involving a selection of speakers focussed on a topic of current interest.
Diversity We are keen for our speakers to reflect the multicultural city we live and work in. We aim to host a wide variety of speakers at our events and would like to receive proposals from coaches who span different races, cultures, gender, gender identity, disability, ages, professional experiences and social class.

Benefits The London Coaching Group is a not-for-profit community Group run by volunteers. We price ticket sales to meet operating and administration costs. Whilst we do not pay speakers or cover travel expenses, our events offer you the opportunity to connect with an audience of coaches, gain exposure for other ventures, share research, publicise your books, workshops and courses, and receive feedback. We encourage you to invite attendees to sign up for your newsletters and blogs.
Location and timings of workshops
We schedule a blend of online and face-to-face events across the year. Events take place
on the fourth Tuesday of the month (adjusted for public/school holidays). Virtual events are
18.00 to 19.30. Live evening events start at 18.00 for networking, with the session running
18.30-20.30. Face-to-face events will take place at a venue in central London close to good transport hubs.
