Many companies are switching to agile ways of working; approaches that work with the whole system and empower people within the system to come up with their own solutions. This demands a real shift away from traditional command and control, hierarchy-dominated management, requiring a rethink of the role of the manager (more towards coaching / enabling manager) and a rethink of the role of employees (growth mindset, proactive, taking ownership). This session will explore the challenges that individuals and teams may face when evolving towards such a culture, case studies and drawing on several parallels arising for individual coaching.
In this workshop, Lise will introduce us to agile and encourage us to explore our felt personal experience of the difference in approach and impact on productivity. As a group, sharing experiences of agile ways of working being witnessed in our own organisations and evident in the clients we work with, to better understand how we as coaches can best support our clients in making this shift.
