"Sustainable Leadership" with Charlotte Wiseman

  • London Coaching Group (map)

Charlotte is an Applied Positive psychology researcher in the field of CEO burnout and workplace wellbeing.  Her latest study interviewed CEOs who had experienced a burnout or crisis and explored what CEOs can do to manage their wellbeing while under extreme pressure to prevent such outcomes.  Her participants acknowledged the importance of coaching in this process as a fundamental step and explored what made this most effective.

In her highly interactive session for the London Coaching Group, Charlotte will focus on what we can do, as coaches, to optimise our impact when working with executives and leaders under extreme pressure.   Given the impact of wellbeing on performance and the potential ripple effect of a crisis in leaders, the learnings will benefit CEOs personally as well as boosting organisational performance and resilience.

Building upon a scientific foundation, Charlotte combines her pioneering research with personal experience to offer an evidence-based and practical approach to mental fitness.   It was her own journey to overcome chronic stress, anxiety and depression that first led her to explore mindfulness and positive psychology in 2009. The changes she experienced were so inspiring that she left her long standing career in the fashion industry to pursue an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualifications.

A member of the British Psychological Society and International Positive Psychology Association, Charlotte has been featured in the Journal of Public Mental Health and has been invited to speak at the Psychological Resilience Summit in Toronto in 2021.

If you attend all the live online meeting, you will receive 1.25 CCEs in Resource Development.
