Social medial is currently a buzz-word - it can help you reach an audience far greater that with traditional networking methods, but can also be an in credible drain on your time if you don't have a strategy in place.
Most people know they “should” be engaging with social media, but don’t have a clue where to start. “What do I say?” and “How will I find the time?” are common questions from new clients.
Kate will help you figure out the best social media platforms for your individual business; what to say and how to engage with your audience; and give you tips to enable you to manage social media in just 30 minutes per day.
It’s not dissimilar from networking and personal recommendation – it’s all about conversation and connection. The difference is that the web gives you access to literally millions of potential clients from your own laptop.
During the session you will:
1. Understand how social media works in a business context – it’s not enough to just have a website
2. Appreciate the importance of being authentic online – why people to business with people
3. Learn how to develop a social media strategy for your business – in 30 minutes a day
Kate Bacon is a coach and social media strategist who works with small business owners who are passionate about what they offer to the world. Kate developed her online business skills through running a successful business providing Virtual Assistant (VA) services to coaches for seven years.
She holds a Certificate in Coaching from Coaching Development - one of the ICF (International Coach Federation) accredited face-to-face coach training organisations in the UK.
