Appreciative Inquiry

Appreciative Enquiry is a very powerful process for achieving transformational change. The session will start by looking at the assumptions on which it is based (its grounded in positive psychology and was initially used for large-scale interventions) ans wil then briedly describe the 4/5 main stages - Defining, Discovery, Dreaming, Designing and Destiny.

The workshop participants will be encouraged to try the Discovery stage to get a feeling for the process and be led onto the next stage to Dream. The final stages will then be described so that the whole process is understood.  The session will end with a brief description of how the process can be adapted for a variety of situations working with one personmteams, organisations and communities.

Geoff Allen come from a diverse background - Kiwi, stage manager,RAF pilot, FE lecturer/Vice Principle, NLP Master Practitioner and LEadership coach.  His consultancy, Alterego, specilises in management and organisational development, especially in coaching and action learning sets.
