Coaches often need to be creative, respond inventively in the moment, and help their clients release their imagination and ingenuity. But creativity is not just a matter of generating new ideas: it also involves new ways of moving, relating and being. Learning to be more creative is therefore necessarily experiential.

Improvised theatre offers a range of immersive techniques that enable participants to unlock their own creativity. Coaches can use the simple techniques (as warm ups, practice or for ideas generation) with clients with individual clients, with groups and teams, virtually and face to face, and in co-coaching and supervision.

In this interactive session, Stephen and Julie will:
* Explain some of the key tenets of improv: its openness to mistakes and its mission to create and explore new worlds
* Link this to the challenge for coaches and their clients.
* Take the group through a series of exercises designed to facilitate creativity
* Provide space for reflection and sharing insights

If you attend all the live meeting, you will receive 1.5 CCEs - 50% in Core Competencies and 50% Resource Development.

This was such a lovely return to in-person events at LCG. Stephen and Julie were both excellent, and the session was lively, very very engaging, and re-ignited my love of improv as well as giving me plenty to reflect on as a coach”
“The exercises were fun and meeting other coaches”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the session and thought it was well led, well organised and the venue worked well. Many thanks
