Founded by Bob Griffiths, the London Coaching Group started as a small group of 15-20 people who met regularly as part of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s Special Interest Group.
Today, the London Coaching Group monthly meetings attract around 50 people. The primary purpose of the London Coaching Group is to promote coaching, to provide networking opportunities for coaches and to provide a forum for personal and professional development.
The London Coaching Group attracts speakers at the top of the profession, and past presenters include Nancy Kline, Alexander Caillet, Carole Gaskell and Karen and Henry Kimsey-House.
Future plans for the group include adding special nights with speakers who have a specific niche or a high public profile, running more practice development evenings and adding advanced sessions for more experienced coaches.
